About Us – STATS
Sorrento Typesetting Advertising Trade Services, founded in 1968 in Solana Beach, California, has been delivering top-tier packaging and advertising materials for over five decades. In 1971, STATS established its first commercial location in Sorrento Valley — now a hub for major cellular component companies.
Greg Stone acquired the company in 1975, when it was a modest two-person typesetting shop. Under his leadership, STATS expanded to three locations across San Diego, evolving with the industry to offer a full suite of services including typesetting, large-format photo processing, imagesetting, press-match proofing, and more.
Today, STATS operates a 50,000 sq. ft. production and warehouse facility in Riverside, California — one of the largest in the U.S. for in-stock feather flags, teardrop flags, and promotional signage. This scale allows us to ship immediately, eliminating long wait times and ensuring fast delivery for our customers.
